New Gym Tomorrow

Posted in Exercise, Flat Tummy, Law School, Lose 10 tagged , , , at 2:03 am by sillylittlestudent

They sucked me in with their summer promo!  Tomorrow I’m going to check out the NEW location with their fancy new weights and machines.

My boyfriend and I signed up, but I doubt our schedules will allow us to workout together.  I’m going tomorrow to hopefully do some weights and walk/jog about three miles.  In this heat, it might even be nice to go for a swim!

I currently have access to free gyms at my law school, the hospital, and the community college.  I’m not really sure if it would EVER be worth it to pay gym membership fees.  However, I’d really like to save up to buy a treadmill of my own.  Unfortunately, this will probably have to wait until after I finish law school :(

I see that you’re relatively new to blogging. My blog is kind of new as well, but I’ve been around since 1999. LOL.

I’m glad you’re doing this. I have to say, if you feel motivated to go to a gym to run, or do weights somewhere else, you’re more likely to actually do it when you have to go somewhere other than your house than do it at home. At home, it’s like a dining room. You hardly use it, and for the most part it’s there, but only used in special occasions. Trust me.

Honestly, if you live in a place where you can run outside, run outside and get fresh air and enjoy nature (even if you live in the city). If it’s too cold, go to the gym. Treadmills are pricey and will become another piece of furniture. I’m a runner – I know. :)

    • Thanks for your comment :) I wish I could run outside, but it’s 100 degrees and I don’t want to pull a Martin Lawrence. XP

Maybe gym membership is better than a treadmill at home… I definitely have trouble staying motivated, especially when life gets REALLY busy, but I do LOVE to run! I might have to look online for tricks to staying motivated :D
