Election Day
CA Primaries Today! Most people my age don’t vote, but I really feel it is important to participate. Especially now because California is suffering horribly and needs strong leadership to pull itself out of its rut.
The race for Governor has been receiving the most attention. The Republican candidates (Whitman and Poizner) have been slinging mud at each other for months and this battle has made the Democratic party’s job quite a cinch. As a Democrat I’m really hoping for Jerry Brown to win in November. Although I’ll even admit that I am impressed with the work Arnold Schwarzenegger has accomplished.
Hopes for the Future (include but are not limited to):
- Development of Sustainable Green Energy
- Increase Funding For Education
- Start Making Sh** — Our Economy Cannot Be Service Based! We need to start manufacturing (business incentives, tax breaks, something)! Help reduce unemployment by providing thousands of Green Jobs!!
